So Sam comes home from school yesterday and informs me that his teacher told him not to refer to women as "hot girls" because, as he explains it, "hot girls" is not proper french (they are only allowed to speak french at school) and he should instead refer to women as "hot babes." I find it hard to believe that was the alternative the teacher offered or that that was her reason for telling him not to use the word. Although having seen his teacher -- a "hot babe" who works at it -- I could be wrong.
He's also started to ask me to wear dresses to work rather than slacks because I look prettier in dresses he says.
I think I'm somehow raising a chauvinist. How did this happen?
